The Sgt. Roy Lewis Newsletter

Hi guys, here's another attempt of mine to keep you in the loop of what' s going on with the Sarge! I want to create this newsletter to keep you current on training techniques and issues that can help you better train. I want to thank all of you for taking time to attend my classes. I have over the years put extra work into them to make sure that you (the participant) are getting the best workout that money can buy! My philosophy is simple. To get results you must work hard! Hard means different things to different people. My definition is simple. Hard means doing something that you haven't done before! Many of you have started various workout programs only to quit them or give up. I laugh to myself because these people that get on these infomercials they promise that their product will help you reach your fitness goals! Listen up! There is one ingredient that is missing. MOTIVATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Listen, there is a source of that inside you! You don't even know it and that's what kills me!!!! If you can get up in the morning and get dress, you possess motivation. If you can drive a car, comb your hair, breathe, you possess motivation. The problem is that we live in a world where we constantly compare ourselves with other people. That athlete that makes a million dollars a year hitting a baseball doesn't have what you have to be the best YOU! You may not be able to hit a baseball but God has given you other gifts and talents that you are not even aware you have! You have a responsibility to discover what they are! Ability, race, and social background is no excuse for not trying. In the upcoming issues we will discuss these issues that pertain to you being at your personal best. I welcome your questions or comments.

Remember: one gear, wide open,
