A Letter from my daughter
Hey dad, thanks for the loving email. I want you to know that i love you and i apologize for not staying in touch with you that often. Honestly the way i have been getting over the fact you are over there is by keeping my distance. nothing personal. I was thinking the other day of how your such a strong person and i am proud of you. I thought i was strong going through my sickness but you've outdone me. lol!
You face a plethora of dangerous situations daily and if that were me wow id be curled up in the fetal position. I know you have many people that look up to you and admire what you do. But just remember that I look up to you more than them and remain conscience of that. I know its your job to motivate others and propel them towards success but just make sure you give me the same positive energy.
If it wasnt for who you are and how strong you are, some of the values i hold onto today i wouldnt have. Thank you for putting your life on the line for this country and also for me. Knowing that your over there always keeps me conscience to take every opportunity for granted because if it wernt for you and all the other troops, we wouldnt have these capabilites.
