Depression can be a killer in a person's life. I know that first hand because a certain love one in my own family died because of it. I know there is medical and scientific evidence that depression can be brought on by a person's chemical imbalances. I really don't understand it myself. When I think of depression what comes to mind for me is hopelessness, fear, and sadness. As I grow older I thank the Lord more and more for giving me the opportunity to know him as my personal Lord and Savior. I truly believe that if one has the true knowledge that Jesus is 'Lord' and that he has total control of our lives and circumstances depression will not prevail. Yes I have been depressed about certain situations that occurred in my life but overall I know Jesus is bigger than these circumstances and that he is going to give me whatever it takes to overcome them. I'm not saying that I walk around with a blank happy non-caring look on my face 24 hours a day. I saying that my security rests purely upon the knowledge that Jesus is in control. The truth is the routine of life's circumstances will be what they are supposed to be. We will experience times of sadness, happiness, fear, anger and confusion. This is how God designed it to be.

The true FAITH is in the living that Jesus will meet all your needs according to his riches and glory! Look at it this way, people will fail you; companies will go out of business; things will break down from normal wear and tear. All of these things will pass away in due time. The love of Jesus will NEVER pass away! I know some of you, if you're like me, made terrible mistakes in the past. You might have done horrendous things that you if you had the chance to go back you would change them. Some of you have carried the guilt and shame of these things for years. Well I have good news! Today is the day that you give these things up! Jesus will take the burden off of your shoulders and relieve you of all the guilt.

This is HIS free gift to you. It doesn't matter what you did. If there was any sin that wasn't unpardonable then we wouldn't need Jesus. You don't have to live in depression anymore. Come to the light of peace and forgiveness. It's yours! All you have to do is take it. Give Jesus that depression, anger, bitterness, and strife today. All you have to do is say "Jesus I give it all to you. I can't and won't carry it any longer." At that moment you are freed from it! Choose to be free today!
